Moderately Difficult Installation. Professional installation is strongly recommended. The Essential RO System comes complete and fully assembled with everything you need for a proper installation: filters, membrane, all inlet, outlet, drain, tank & faucet connections, 2.5 feet of inlet & outlet tubing, black tubing for drain line and air gap usage, yellow tubing for the storage tank connection, mounting bracket and service manual. (UV lamp and transformer - with UV disinfection RO3-UV & RO4-UV systems only, 5 micron pre-sediment filter with 4 stage RO4 & RO4-UV systems only.)
Easy Replacement. System maintenance is simple. Replace the 2 filters and membrane with RO3 and the 3 filters and membrane with RO4 (and the UV lamp if applicable with the RO3-UV or RO4-UV) when needed, up to 1 year. It is a quick process of shutting off the water at your sink, a quick twist-off of the old filters and membrane (and the removal of the UV lamp, if applicable) and a quick twist-in of the new filters and membrane (and insert of the UV lamp, if applicable).
CAUTION: Once filters have been replaced, proper RO startup is required.
